It was then faced with new, even tougher targets to meet. In August 2006, the Trust appointed Mr Alan Murray as Chief Executive
Mr Murray had previously led the turnaround at Mersey Regional Ambulance Service (MRAS) at that time the poorest performing ambulance service in England. Here he had worked with Lightfoot Solutions and sfn to identify the key performance issues and to implement a new approach to performance management

Complaint Watch - Improving Police Professional Standards
August 2006
The majority of Police services in the UK utilise the Centurion System to track and process complaints made by members of the public. Whilst investigating complaints with care and impartiality is a priority, there is also a desire to interpret the collected data, report upon it to the Police Authority, comply with the new IPCC Taylor recommendations and improve performance by reducing the number of complaints.
