Lightfoot Solutions – a Microsoft Gold Partner specialising in the Health Sector in the UK are looking for a graduate IT engineer to cover desktop and end-user support.
The ideal candidate will most likely have a good degree in science, engineering or mathematics – and have a keen interest in technology – preferably with a few years IT experience. We are looking for the type of person with an inquisitive mind – the sort of person who would build and repair their own PC and fix their own gadgets.
The role will involve supporting end users, building and deploying laptops – and providing 1st and some 2nd line network support as part of the UK IT Team.
The role will also involve working closely with 2nd/3rd line engineers – and progress to support enterprise technologies including networks, applications and data-warehouse solutions. Lightfoot are currently engaged in several large scale big data projects with NHS England and Welsh District Health Boards covering tens of millions of patients.

Location and Hours

Based in the Bracknell Head Office – typically 3 days on site – and 2 days working from home.
Needs to be based within 30 minutes of Bracknell and able to attend the office at short notice if needed.

Standard hours are 9am to 5:30 p.m weekdays – but we expect someone who is flexible when required. There will not be extensive out of hours or anti-social hours as there is a New Zealand based team covering nights.
